Silky Hosiery Ltd was founded in 1997, by Allan Falconer, who’s history and experience has always been in the textile and hosiery sector. During the 1970's, Allan was the Production Director for a Courtaulds Fabric Mill. He then moved into the hosiery trade in 1985 and has been involved in legwear ever since. Initially Allan was the Chief Executive of the South African Hosiery Company and in 1994 was transferred to the UK to head Pretty Polly Ltd. With over 20 years experience in legwear he has now taken Silky hosiery from a zero base and the business has grown year on year in both turnover and profit and now encompasses five hosiery brands.

Our brands offer an extensive range of fashionable, high quality products which offer solutions for every area of legwear. We pride ourselves on bringing new and exciting initiatives to the consumer, with innovating new concepts which are always influenced by the latest fashion trends. Together with a our Technical Manager, Neil Footitt, who again has over 30 years experience in legwear, we cannot be rivalled for upto date technologies and exciting new product development.

Legwear is seeing a revival of fortunes and our aim is to bring high fashion, high quality styles to every woman who wears hosiery and to excite and encourage a new era of younger hosiery wearers, with cutting edge design.
